With low-impact curvilinear motion, 3M™ AccuGlide™ II Upper/Lower Taping Head exerts minimum force on cases to protect both cartons and contents. Featuring consistent and quality tape application, this upper and lower taping head also offers low maintenance for improved productivity. The taping head is designed to apply 1.5" (36mm) tape at a case speed of up to 78 feet per minute, and the adjustable tape drum assembly also allows narrower tapes. Its low profile side plate, open tape path and easy-to-follow instructions allow for fast, easy threading. Made of epoxy powder-coated steel for durability yet lightweight for easy handling, it's designed for use in 3M-Matic™Case Sealer800asb on narrow profile boxes. Its compact size and simplicity also make it suitable for mounting into other box sealer systems to tape cartons.

Stable Alignment and Smooth Application.3M™ AccuGlide™ II Upper/Lower Taping Head has a tape drum latch that secures rolls for stability and positive tape alignment — just press to release for a roll change. The tape drum assembly is also adjustable for use with tapes narrower than 1.5" (36mm). The rugged construction of epoxy powder coated steel provides exceptional durability, and the taping head also has a friction brake drum to maintain proper tape tension and prevent overcoasting for smooth tape application.

Taping Heads Provide Low Impact Sealing.Designed to apply a "C" clip of Scotch® box sealing tape, the 3M™ AccuGlide™ II Upper/Lower Taping Head seals the top or bottom center seam. With a flowing, curvilinear form for low impact and consistent application, 3M™ AccuGlide™ taping heads help protect boxes while providing greater case throughput.
